The weekend was a huge success with nearly 100 Brownies, Guides, Senior Section & Leaders attending.
Everyone who visited the radio station sent a greetings message to Brownies & Guides from all over the UK.
Other activities that the young people took part in was trying out morse code, walkie talkie wide games, and learning the phonetic alphabet.
Most of those present completed the Communicator activity badge. The girls also completed a QSL card with a special Thinking Day message to the Brownie or Guide that they spoke to over the air.
One group of Guides enjoyed it so much that they came back to the radio shack just before bedtime and spent another hour listening to operators from around the world and speaking with fellow Guides in the UK.
Over the weekend we made 197 contacts in 35 different countries and 4 continents, including contacts with Brazil, United Arab Emirates, the Azores and Tasmania.
Members of the club voted this TDOTA the most successful one to date.
Eunice, Bob, George and Kai would like to thank Paisley District for their hospitality.
