The station will be operational on Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd of February 2026 at the Scouts District Headquarters on Finnart Street, Greenock.
World Thinking Day is observed by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts on the third full weekend in February.
The primary objective of Thinking Day on the Air (TDOTA) is to facilitate the establishment of international friendships among Girlguiding members from different units through the medium of amateur radio communication.
During TDOTA 2026, Girl Guides and Scouts globally will commemorate 100 years of World Thinking Day on Sunday the 22nd of February.
This year’s Thinking Day theme is ‘Our Friendship’.
It is a chance for members to reflect on the friendships they have locally as well as the global community they are part of as Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
