We will be testing a Geocaching app for the iPhone this weekend when we do our hike on the Cut and Dunrod Hill (see previous post).
We have added in to the App the geocaches we hope to find and will report on how we get on later.
We will test the App against our individual handheld GPS receivers and compare the results.

The club will activate the special event callsign, GG100GGR, for the last time today.
The activation will take place at Lapwing Lodge where the Renfrewshire Girl Guides will be holding their Centenary Celebrations Closing Ceremony (Vision Event). The station will be on the air from 18.30 to 20.30 local time on 2m and HF.

The club will work JOTA 2010 from the new radio shack inside the Greenock and District Scouts Headquarters.
